Re-invitation Programme for Former Scholarship Holders
This programme offers former scholarship holders the opportunity to carry out research and working projects in Germany and to maintain contacts as part of DAAD’s global alumni network.

ERA Fellowships – Green Hydrogen
With this Programme the DAAD promotes the education of young scientists in the field of Green Hydrogen (GH2) and connects them with experts and DAAD alumnae/alumni worldwide.
PhD students and PostDocs from all scientific disciplines with a study or research focus on ‘Green Hydrogen’ can apply at any time.

Green Hydrogen Research Tour 2024 for PhD Candidates and Postdocs
The DAAD invites advanced PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from the European Research Area (ERA) and partner countries including Australia to join an exclusive Research Tour on green hydrogen research and technology in Germany.
From 15 to 21 September 2024, fellows can visit renowned German research institutions, gain first- hand insights into the latest advancements in the field, and connect with experts actively contributing to green hydrogen research.
Academics or professionals with an background in green hydrogen who are interested in a research cooperation or stay in Germany can apply by 17 June 2024.

Funding Programme for Joint Research Projects
Australia-Germany Joint Research Cooperation Scheme
The initiative of the DAAD and Universities Australia fosters research collaboration of the highest quality and supports exchanges of researchers from member universities to spend time at partner institutions in Germany, and for collaborating German researchers to spend time at Australian universities. The inclusion of early career researchers (ECRs) is a significant focus of this scheme.
